Crochet this colourful and warm afghan for a loved one or yourself. The textured wavy stitch is fun, quick to work up and a delight to look upon. The inspiration for this afghan was a photo, included in the pattern of a sunset from the Bayou St. John in New Orleans; hence its name. One of the exciting features of this afghan is that the ends do not need to be woven in; they are left and tied together for fringe.

The completed afghan measures 114cm x 158cm (45" x 62”) and the yarn pack quantities given are for this size but it can be customised to any size preference as it is worked in multiples of 18 + 2, additional yarn will be required for these sizes.
You will also need a 5mm and a 5.5mm or 6mm crochet hook.
