Jane Crowfoot (Janie Crow) - Mystical Lanterns Blanket - Merino DK (Yarnsmiths Yarn Pack)

Janie Crow has designed this beautifully detailed blanket with shades of Yarnsmiths Merino which will transport you to a magically lit bazaar of lights and lanterns in all sizes and colours. “I designed the Mystical Lanterns pattern in 2016 using a carpet design I saw in an interiors magazine as the inspiration. The design is based on a granny hexagon motif, which morphs into an ‘ogee’ shape once a couple of rounds are complete. The blanket can be made in any palette of shades, but I am particularly pleased with this bright and fun version I have created for the Yarnsmiths range of yarn.”
