Wearing an item made of Silkpaca is like wearing a cloud! This yarn is 70% baby alpaca and 30% silk, which makes it 100% luscious. Soft, silky, with just a bit of a halo. Despite being Malabrigo's thinnest yarn, it is plied and sturdy- perfect for lace projects and very special objects that are sure to become precious heirlooms. Great for: Lace, shawls, scarves, diaphanous garments.

All Malabrigo yarns are kettle dyed in small batches and often don't have a dye lot, which means the colours are likely to vary from skein to skein, even within the same batch. To ensure random colour distribution, try working from two balls of yarn at once, alternating a few rows from each ball. Be sure to get enough yarn to complete your project as the next batch we receive could be very different!

Please note: This yarn is supplied in a hank which requires winding before use. Attempts to use this yarn from the hank, rather than from a ball, will result in tangles, knots, and frustration!
