Helen Shrimpton of Crystals & Crochet has designed the gorgeous Cornish Comfort in two colourways!

Helen says: 'There is nothing as cosy and comfortable as a beautiful handmade blanket. As I moved to Cornwall, my spiritual home, last year I have felt more comfortable as each week has passed. I am inspired by the beautiful landscape, both the woodlands and the coastal areas, there is a ruggedness to the moors around Bodmin and the north coast that really makes me feel at one with nature and I tried to reflect that in this design. Cornish Comfort is full of rich texture with a wonderful mixture of both simple and more complex stitches.'

The Woodland colourway contains 17 balls of Stylecraft Special DK (100g), a 100% acrylic yarn, in the following shades and quantities:

You will also need a 4.00mm crochet hook.
