Created in Life DK, Jane Crowfoot’s Delft Blanket is inspired by the blue and white Delftware from the Netherlands. Jane said "I find it fascinating how re-colouring a design can completely change the way it looks, and I love to see other crocheters versions of my designs, especially those that have used an alternative colour palette." In collaboration with Simply Crochet, Jane Crowfoot & Stylecraft, a competition was launched to create different colour variations of the Delft Blanket.

Armed with colouring charts and crochet hooks, entrants set about designing their very own colour recipes. The judging panel were overwhelmed with the number of entries and had the very difficult task of narrowing the competition down to just five finalists! The second prize winner was Katie Mulliner with her Rose Garden In Bloom colouway -

"The rose bushes we had in the garden of our childhood home – they were my Dad’s pride and joy, but he still let us pick the petals to make ‘perfume’."

The Rose Garden In Bloom colourway pack contains 16 balls of Stylecraft yarns in the following shades and quantities:
