The easier way to make fabric covered buttons, this handy tool from Hemline has multiple depressions for different sizes so you can make buttons for all your different projects. Once you have created your fabric cover and placed it over the button base, simply fit the button front in the right size depression, place the back over the shank, then attached the plastic back and use a hammer to gently slot the two sections together - easy!
