This collection by Holly Taylor for Moda was inspired by the serene Great White Egrets which migrate to the lakes of Minnesota every year.

Describing her collection, Holly explains:

"With more than 14,000 lakes in Minnesota, we have the perfect environment for the Great White Egret. From late April through September, we witness their beauty as they glide through the air to land on the water.  Every creature, and every plant, has a purpose on our planet.

The egret helps keep the bug and frog population in balance during the hot summer months, just as the lily pads create shade under the water’s surface. The lily pads rise to the surface with large leaves to catch the sun’s light to create photosynthesis, and produce a beautiful flower.

What a beautiful world we live in if we just choose to see it."
