We are thrilled to announce that Jane Crowfoot will be launching 3 new colourways for her Mystical Lanterns blanket!

'The name of a repeated tessellating design, like the one Jane has used in this blanket, is called an 'Ogee' pattern in Arabesque design. It took Jane a few weeks to get the design of these blocks right; initially she came up with loads of really complicated ways to create this motif, but in the end it was so simple - funny how sometimes a design process can take so long and then the outcome can be so easy to make!'

This yarn pack contains 13 balls of Stylecraft Naturals Bamboo and Cotton in the following shades:

This yarn pack does not include the Mystical Lanterns pattern but you can purchase it here. 4.0mm (US-G/6) & 4.5mm (US-US7) crochet hooks used. You can find a free downloadable yarn substitution document that lists all the yarns used in the new colourways by following this link.

Finished blocked measurement - 100cm (39 1/4in) x 155cm (61in).

Please also note: Pack quantities are given for the project when worked to the tension stated in the pattern.  If a different hook is used, or your tension differs from the designer’s, additional yarn may be required.
