Jacquard/Temperature CAL by Rosina Plane - Arctic Blanket in Stylecraft Special DK (Stylecraft Pack) - Product Description
We are thrilled to stock two gorgeous designs by Rosina Plane of Rosina Crochets! The first is a Jacquard Sampler CAL and the second a Temperature Blanket/ Runner both of which use the same four colour packs with two sizes to choose from, in Stylecraft yarns.
The Jacquard Sampler uses the overlay mosaic crochet technique to create texture and uses colour to create a sense of movement. There are two yarn packs for this design; a Starter pack, which has enough yarn to make one runner or three scarves; and a Blanket pack.
The Temperature Blanket/Runner has been designed to be a year-long project where crocheters use the colours to record the temperature each day wherever they live, and also uses texture to spell the letters of each month as they are working on it. “If crocheters want to try the Temperature Blanket, I would recommend they buy the Runner pack as a starter pack. Depending on what the temperatures are like in [any given year], they may need more or less of some shades and then they have the flexibility to buy more yarn as the year progresses,” Rosina explains.

Please note: This pack does NOT contain the printed pattern - the CAL ran at the end of 2021 to the beginning of 2022. The pattern for the temperature blanket can be found here. The pattern for the Jacquard design can be found here. The quantities stated are estimates as, depending on the temperature for each day, you may require more or less of one or more shades.
Please also note: Pack quantities are given for the project when worked to the tension stated in the pattern. If a different hook is used, or your tension differs from the designer’s, additional yarn may be required.
