Born in the hills of Yorkshire in 1978 and home to the most beautiful yarns and outstanding designs to inspire knitters and crocheters around the globe.
In Magazine 74, Rowan are shining a spotlight on two yarns – the first, a firm favourite that has been in the Rowan range for nearly a quarter of a century, Felted Tweed, and new kid on the block, Fine Tweed Haze.
Felted Tweed My Way celebrates this very special yarn whilst championing the individuality of the Rowan design team. A wonderfully eclectic mix of designs and styles.
In Fine Tweed Haze explores Rowan's new yarn which is a lightweight version of much-loved Tweed Haze. Designers Martin Storey, Lisa Richardson, Georgia Farrell, Chloe Thurlow and Quail Studio have created a classic collection of versatile garments and accessories.

Fine Tweed Haze is a finer version of the much loved Tweed Haze. The same modern tweed look, with a haze and tweedy neps of contrasting colours. Perfect for fine colour work and Fair Isle colour palettes, but also great for single colour garments - a truly versatile yarn.
