Drops Big Merino - All Colours - Product Description
Drops Big Merino is the larger version of Drops Merino Extra Fine, spun from 100% merino wool fibres from free-range animals in South Africa and South America. Softness, volume, and elasticity abound in this beautifully soft yarn whose structure provides a wonderfully even texture once worked up, making it ideal for knitting structured patterns such as cables. Big Merino is also superwash treated and therefore machine washable and suitable for everyday use.
Drops Big Merino is spun from multiple thin strands, which gives extra elasticity to every ball. However, this special construction makes it extra important to treat your new garments right: make sure that you knit with the correct tension favouring tighter stitches rather than looser ones. Don't wash your garment too warm, never leave it to soak and let the garment dry flat.
