Coming from a family of crafters and artists, Jane Crowfoot completed a degree in Textile Design at Winchester School of Art, before going on to work as a freelance swatch designer and later a Design Consultant for Rowan Yarns and Debbie Bliss. Whilst running tutoring workshops, she also wrote her first book: ‘Finishing Techniques for Handknitters’. It wasn’t until later that Jane began to focus on crochet, releasing her first crochet along project in 2011.

Drawing on everything from famous artists to interior design magazines and even stationary, Jane works out of her North London studio, painstakingly planning, experimenting, and producing gorgeous CAL projects that are always highly anticipated. With a talented team working with her, Jane has been impressively prolific over the years, sharing a whole host of techniques, textures, and colour mixes.
