Spinners asked and Malabrigo listened! Their ultra-soft merino is now available as unspun top, in a selection of the most beloved colourways. It is truly a joy to spin, full of fluff and loft and unmatched softness! Of course, you can also knit with the roving itself for a uniquely fluffy effect or use it for thrums or needle felting.

All Malabrigo yarns are kettle dyed in small batches and often don't have a dye lot, which means the colours are likely to vary from skein to skein, even within the same batch. To ensure random colour distribution, try working from two balls of yarn at once, alternating a few rows from each ball. Be sure to get enough yarn to complete your project as the next batch we receive could be very different!

Due to differences in dye distribution between batches, it is not possible for us to update our product images to match current mixes exactly, and the images shown may not match the yarn you receive.
